Winter shoots - Saskatoon engagement photographers

OK, it's official, I love doing winter shoots!  The snow is so fun and unique, it provides an excellent backdrop for photos.  We started this engagement session by going for a skate at the rink down by the river here in Saskatoon.  It was a few days after Christmas, so the rink was packed with people (I think everyone was still on holidays), but I really like how the images turned out.  I think the other 200 people on the rink that day worked with us instead of against us:). 

This couple is extremely photogenic and did amazing for their first ever photo shoot.  They let me try out some new ideas, which are some of my favourites to date.  I can't wait for their wedding next September.  We're so lucky we get to photograph them on their big day!!

Home for the holidays - Saskatoon family photographers

I photographed this lovely family in their home when their kids and granddoggies were home for the holidays.  It was a pleasure to get to know them.

A snuggly session - Saskatoon photographers

This is Kristina and her fiance.  Kristina has her own photography business, Kaptured by Kristina.  I love to photograph photographers.  We did this mini session on a really cold day back in December (yes there were a few cold ones back then:)), so I had them snuggle up nice and close, and we got some really cute shots.  We also took a ton of warm up breaks.  I think we spent just as much time in the car warming up as we did actually shooting.  Here are just a few from our session. 

Trio - Saskatoon photographers

This little girl was so fun!  I used to be scared to photograph this age, but I'm really starting to love it.  They pretty much run the show, and that's OK.  Isn't this trio photogenic?

This adorable little man turned 1!  He also happens to be my nephew on my husbands side of the family.  He is a joy to photograph!  Look at that adorable smile....
